My name is Ashley the CEO and Founder of Conjure Basics. As a three-time mother, I experienced firsthand the impact that hyperpigmentation can have on one's self-confidence. The journey of motherhood brought joy and fulfilment, but it also left me grappling with the usual challenges of post-pregnancy skin and hair issues(hair shedding, hyperpigmentation and dark stretch-marks), affecting my skin and, subsequently, my confidence.
Motivated by the desire to regain the radiant glow and self-assurance I once possessed, I embarked on a personal mission to develop a solution. After spending so much money on high street products cheap and expensive which did not work, I went on a mission and conducted extensive research into products used in skincare. Years of trial and error led to the formulation of the perfect nature fuelled products which worked miracles for my skin and hair, you could say Stella finally had her groove back, well Ashley (lol). I began giving my products to family and friends who would ask me how I managed to get my skin back to looking great and my hair thick and flourishing. They were also amazed about how effective the products were! This was the birth of conjure basics, I turned my pain and torment of dealing with skin issues into a driving force to creating solutions to daily skin and hair care issues.
