HyperP Serum

After cleansing skin take a small amount of the hyperP serum and apply to affected areas and massage gently into skin, make sure to moisturise your skin well while using this product. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 during the day, even if serum is used at night.

Frequency: Once bi-daily in the evening to begin with to allow skin to adjust to product, after a week if skin tolerates product application may be increased to once a day, then twice a day the following week. If you notice any irritation redness or discomfort lower frequency/consult a dermatologist.

Alpha Arbutin

Alpha arbutin is a naturally occurring antioxidant that is found in plants such as bearberry, cranberry, and mulberry. It is used to treat sunspots, hyperpigmentation and scars caused by sun damage and breakouts. Alpha Arbutin works by inhibiting an enzyme called tyrosinase within melanocytes. Melanocytes control the melanin production and melanin is responsible for the pigment levels which imparts the skin its colour. 

Niacinamide Vitamin B3

A dermatologist approved skincare ingredient that helps to brighten and moisturise skin. Applied topically this "superstar" ingredient works on hyperpigmentation by breaking down existing areas of excess melanin appearing under the surface of the skin and helping to prevent more areas from appearing. Niacinamide has amazing and powerful anti-inflammatory properties hence being a good vitamin to be used by people who suffer from acne.  It also strengthens the skin barrier function reducing irritation and dryness and helping with the ability to hold moisture therefore aiding with the regeneration of cells.

Kojic Acid Dipalmitate

Is a modified form form of kojic acid. Its benefits include but are not limited to skin brightening, reduction of hyperpigmentation, reduction of the appearance of scars, antifungal and antibacterial benefits. It works by fading discoloration through inhibiting pigment production that is excessive or abnormal. Kojic acid dipalmitate reduces hyperpigmentation by inhibiting tyrosine which is an enzyme in the biosynthesis of melanin/pigment.

The appearance of this product may vary due to the use of active, natural ingredients. There are potential colour changes may occur due to the alpha arbutin in our hyperP serum. Alpha arbutin is susceptible to oxidation therefore may change colour when exposed to sunlight or increased temperature this however does not change the efficacy and safety profile of the active ingredient remains stable.
